Sort your text lines alphabetically in ascending (A–Z) or descending (Z–A) order. Paste or type your text into the box, choose your sort direction, and the sorted lines will appear below.

How to Use

FAQ

Is the sorting case insensitive?
Yes. “Apple” and “apple” are treated the same for sorting, which is the behavior most users expect.

Does it change anything else in the text?
No. It only reorders the lines. The content of each line stays exactly the same.
